Kuya Reunion 2013 - Reno, Nevada

The 6922nd SW 2013 Reno Kuya Superfest will be held in Reno, Nevada from the 15th to 19th of May 2013 at the Grand Sierra Resort (GSR). The committee
inspected 6 hotels and was able to secure a terrific package of room rates and concessions. The GSR waived the $10 daily resort fee which allows you access to the health club, valet parking, airport shuttle to the Reno-Tahoe International Airport, free local phone calls, wireless Internet and 2 bottles of water.
We will post more information on our website, but the room rates are as follows:
$69.00 per night for a Grand Sierra Room or
$99.00 per night for a Luxury Summit Room (See pictures of the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino rooms and amenities below).
Reservations can be made by calling: 1-800-648-5080 and using Group Code: SWRN5 or 6922nd SW Reunion. The resort web site is:
Begin your reunion preparations now. We are looking at a little more than 3 months to go. If you haven't attended a Kuya Reunion, you have missed a lot
of fun, memories and camaraderie with old friends. Don't miss the 2013 Kuya Superfest! This reunion promises to be raucous, rockin', rambunctious,
real, relaxing, refreshing, rejuvenating, refined, maybe even a tad rebellious like our younger years. But, above all, I guarantee it will be fun!
Here's a great suggestion from Newt and the reunion team: Just don't come for the reunion, if you're going to come all that way, over the Rockies and to Reno,
why not stay awhile and visit the area. There is really a lot to see. Napa Valley wine country is only about 200 miles from Reno; Virginia City, Carson City and
the Ponderosa within 50 miles; San Francisco, Fisherman's Wharf, SF Bay Bridge, etc, is only 225 miles from Reno; Heavenly Valley, South Lake Tahoe or...
make a round trip of it and go to Crater Lake, the Redwoods, SF, wine country and back to Reno.
