Reunion 2002 - Part Tres Running the 'Ville in Vegas
A Great Animal Quote: "I don't know where I was or what I did, but I wouldn't have missed it for the world" - attributed to our Animal philosopher Lulu circa 1968
Too much break for Hippo. He's taking a "time out". This is better than the bar stools at the Jug or the Buckaroo
Lulu taking the same break as Hip only he found a bar stool that fits like the corner of the Jug
The Kuya Crew: Left to Right: Bob 'Walrus" Maki, Bob "Hippo" Buhr, John "Rock" Blanton, Hamon "Chap" Chapital, Mike "Lulu" Gilson, Buzz "Bozo" McManus. Note Maki wearing his 1505 top. Fits pretty good after 32+ years
Hip,Ma Campbell, Bozo, and Marvin Campbell at a table in the Philippines Restaurant (Shanghai Restaurant East). Careful,  Don't let his smile fool you. Hip is after the pancit and flied lice!
Lulu and Mouse. "And Lu, I swear me and Si Bob climbed way up on that log truck with two cases of San Miguel...." Lu (thinking) "Sure, Mouse...and you both came back riding a caribou...."
Marv Campbell, Randy Roberts, and Turk Taylor. Randy must think this is a picture outside of the Jug

The One and Only Thane "Spud" Barker at the Reunion Picnic with, what else, a spud in either hand
Rockin' Random Randy Roberts directing the band of Animals, Baker Boyz, and Dawgs at the Shanghai West. Keith Wise (left seated) looking on in awe and Terry "Fly" Eberhardt has already jumped to his feet awaiting orders. It's a 'Ville Run! That leaves Charlie Flight at Building 850
Our Great Mission Supe then and Now - Marvelous Marv Campbell. He took care of all of the Animals and that was a major job. He's addressing the gang with bodyguards Lulu and Bozo at his side
Mike "Lulu" Gilson - the Animal Philosopher telling the crowd "I don't know where I was or what I did, but I wouldn't have missed it for the world". If that isn't the Animal Credo, I don't know what is
The Shanghai Restaurant West
Ken "Kram" Kramarsic is first in line at the Sari-Sari Store. He grabbed some BBQ Baboy, pancit, lumpia and other taste treats. Where's the Magoo?
Mouse and Lulu hotbreathin'. "We know a place for after curfew that has an air conditioner. Ladies drink...no, you don't understand"
Rock Blanton found some chalk in the restaurant and went out to the parking lot and drew the famous benjo outside the Jug in between MacArthur Boulevard. The drawing was identical in dimensions to the Balibago benjo. The Animals lined up and took turns vaulting the benjo on their way to the Buckaroo and bars unknown. There were about as many misses a tere were in the PI but they weren't as wet. This little demonstration amused the Shanghai West folks and passersby.
Mouse is hotbreathin' a maganda hammer at the Shanghai West restaurant in Vegas. He screwed up as usual by asking "Is your name Sony? I used to leg a hammer named Sony in the PI". "I'm bastoos, but pogi, pogi dengoli with a malaking bu...."Slap!.
Buzz (DCMBozo), Gary "Shade Tree" Schade, Thane "Spud" Barker, and Bruce "Zoot" Suits appropriately green badged and posing at the Reunion 2002 picnic
Random Randy Roberts instructing the crowd on the fine art of Town Runnin'. Randy did an outstanding job organizing Reunion 2002 and made a whole lot of Kuyas actually travel back in time to a time when things were much simpler...and with lifelong friends! We can't let time slide by...Life's way too short
Above is a picture of the Oasis Golf Course where some of the Kuyas beat a little white ball around until it dropped into 18 holes. I'm told it was a doozy of a golf course.
