Kuya Reunion 2011 was like all of the Kuya Reunions - GREAT! Swede did a masterful job organizing the reunion. A special salamat! This was our first Kuya Reunion at the beach and most everything was within walking distance and no one floated out into the Atlantic Ocean. This could have been a problem since many of the Kuyas thought we were back at Blue Beach. The reunion also included a special appearance from Chap's wife and son (Carol and Tony) and Kathy (Facklam) Williams.
Look out Reno, here we come for the next Kuya Reunion!! Details to follow.

Meet the Balibago Fockers:
Carol and Tony Chapital were great additions at the reunion
Buzz McManus and Swede in the left picture and Swede and Pogi Shirley in the right pose for the camera. Swede looks like his main interest has been the tanning salon...or is that really a Swedish version of George Hamilton?
My name is Lulu, How do you Du-du?
Hippo, what is going on with that caterpiller on your upper lip?
Mark "Tarzan" Lyvers tells Pooh Bear he has more palm trees than Pooh's Birds of Paradise
Si Bob and Joann Harris. Si Bob, what have you got in your cheeks. Kind of looks like a happy Don Corleone.
Miki and Keith Wise. Keith is wondering why they are sitting at a table with Mouse.
Kathy and Kram Kramarsic. Kram is giving his best Captain Kramerica look. That's a crime reducer if I ever saw one! Don't stretch that neck much farther!
LeeAnn and Fred "Magoo" Miguel. Fred thinks we believe he's an heir to the San Miguel fortune. The Kuyas sure made lots of $$ for him.
Miki and Norm Collins enjoying some kind of beverage. Maybe that's what gave Norm that inscrutable, all knowing look?
Whatever that cocktail was, after a few Norm gave Random Randy Roberts a few choice words.
Ma and Marv Campbell. What a wonderful thing to have them at the reunions!!!
Neil Lillie and Mouse. We won't tell what was going on behind that black, plastic sheet behind us.
Joe "Cy" Cybulski chats with another very special guest, Kathy Facklam Williams, the newest and forever Kuyette.
The Sin Girls...Cyndi Ogulewicz and Cindie Eberhardt. Is there a sign in there somewhere?
Pat and Ralph Rotunno. Ralph is happy and Pat looks simply ecstatic!!
Norm and Carol doing the "Last Tango In North Myrtle Beach".
Mouse over there said the benjos are out back.
Getting some camera time for Gail's first rodeo!
Mary laughs when Mouse tells her Si Bob still isn't sure who through him out of the back of the jeepney into traffic on MacArthur Blvd. Miki knows!
Keith and Miki wonder what going on as Gail straightens out Mouse..."Because I said so, Sugar!"
Lulu, Norm, Pooh Bear, Buzz and PJ hanging out in front of the bar just like the old days in front of the Jug.
Laurie and Tim Patafio looking good! Laurie's just glad she isn't on an elevator!
It appears Tom Kennedy is stifling a yawn since it's probably past his bedtime. Trudy is thinking "C'mon Tom, didn't you get your nap"?
Sara "Cupcake" Shirley is trying to get some knoshes while Pogi attempts a little hotbreathin'. Unsuccessful just like the old days.
PJ Shingleton asked Terry "Fly" Eberhardt "How big"? "Yeah right!"
Terry tells Newt that PJ doesn't believe him while Gil Koss is eyeing Ma Bea's sandwich.
Bob "Zip" Zuchowski and Family. Zip has positioned himself in front of the "Keeper of the Dance" sign. Shag On, Zip!
Swede and Pooh kickin' it up a notch to the sweet refrain of "Ole Balibago".
Seal Team 6-922 returning from a mission.
Lulu "The Sea Otter" Gilson, CDR Seal Team 6-922, asking Tony Chapital, for directions to the hot tubs and Magoos.
R3 asks Tarzan, "What the hell is that coming out of the water"? "Why that's Seal Team 6-922"!
Rob White indulges in post-mission R&R at the pool.
Lulu tells Tony he can become a Team member if he faithfully drinks Magoos and Shakem-Ups.
Jen texts and Satch stares at the wall while Michelle Ratliff and Barbara Hoerl soak up the ambiance
Some of the Turks: Mick Ogulewicz, Gill Koss (Buzz McManus behind Gil), Bob "Hippo" Buhr,

Larry and Melisa Poppell (right) with their friend Cathy Rausch posing for the papparazi.
Brother Norm toasts the group while doing a U of Texas "Hook'em Horns" gang sign. Mouse checks it out...wasn't Norm toasting with Miki on the beach earlier?
Dennis Frasher, Clyde Gerth and Betsy Krause enjoying some cool drinks...Clyde may have spotted a stain on Dennis' Harley T-shirt. What the hell is it?
The Kuya Reunion 2011 Commemorative T-Shirt
Miki Collins wants to be a Shagger.
I love this stuff!! Mostly 'cause that number will be how old I am in 20 years.
The Kuya SEALs (Rob White, Norm Collins, Charlie Beck and Swede Swanson) debate who can throw the bocci balls like a grenade to see if CDR Lulu heads for the pool or back out to sea.
Okay...I never had to do this for any other Kuya Reunion but...the Reunion Group pictures were a complete fiasco! I think it was because everyone was having such a good time. I only have candid shots. There were 10 takes for the Kuyas to get it together...Only a few less for the Kuyettes. Dennis Frasher tried to organize the Kuyas but just like the PI it was a mess. Thank goodness we never had formations and marching!!!
I've included each attempt for your viewing pleasure (clip the pic to enlarge). There is so much stuff going on you can add your own captions.
Okay Marv...let me get this straight, you want me to relieve Hippo on his rack. Not sure if I remember cut numbers. Pam has her eyes closed saying a prayer Mouse won't see that traffic!
Rob White intervenes on Zoot's behalf with Marv reminding him of Zoot's dit catching and Mouse's predisposition to insanity. Pam keeps praying.... Zoot just giggles at the prospect.
