Before we get too carried away, we have to recognize other Animal Reunions. There's not much left but the intrepid Animals did get together in the 1970s to celebrate the Animal kinship. At the time, Tony Leffin orchestrated a reunion at South Padre Island at the Hilton in 1977. (I still have my yellow "Runnin' Town" T-shirt from the event. I can confirm that Lulu, Hippo, Tony, Mark Vellinga, Cybulski, Mouse, (Maki?) and cloudy on the rest were in attendance. I think the Hip had a scream sheet produced by the Head Vulture. I remember Cy spent a lot of time sleeping on my hotel room floor. Below are a couple of pictures sent to me by Tarzan Lyvers of the event. Anyone who has more info, please let me know so we can document the event for Animal posterity or posteriors. Some story about Tony and a case of Coors at O'Hare?
